R. Reagan Allen

Biography

Reagan Allen is the founder of R. Reagan Allen Law Firm, LLC, a private practice serving individuals, families, and closely held businesses. His work joins three disciplines that rarely sit apart in practice: the planning of estates, the resolution of disputes over them, and the tax questions that follow both.

He began his career in large international law firms before returning to private practice. Over more than two decades he has prepared estate plans for families, handled trust and estate disputes, advised on personal tax and retirement planning, and served as outside general counsel to small and mid‑sized companies.

The firm also provides counsel to captive insurance companies and captive managers, work that draws on the same combination of tax, corporate, and fiduciary judgment.

Reagan earned his Juris Doctor and a Master of Intellectual Property from the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management from the University of Missouri. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Oklahoma and holds an inactive license in Texas.

Raised in Enid, Oklahoma, Reagan now practices from Dublin, Ohio, where the firm is based. Away from the office he is a dedicated cook, a pursuit he finds has more in common with the practice of law than most would guess: careful preparation, done well before anything reaches the table.
